All of our windows can be double glazed, we use sizes ranging from 11mm to 24mm units. This allows us to use double glazing for finer period windows to larger section windows with great thermal efficiency.
Also timber windows are more thermally efficient than UPVC due to wood being less of a heat conductor. And while UPVC windows don’t have solid plastic frames, timber windows do, providing greater resistance for a temperature exchange.
Timber windows really add to the aesthetics of a property increasing value and helping maintain its heritage.

Panel Shutters were traditionally used on Period properties as a practicality for shutting out light; keeping out a draft and adding insulation to a window. They help keep rooms cooler in the summer and even warmer in the winter, and they do so with class.
